26-january, INDIAN Republic Day

26th January  is one of the most important days in Indian history as it was on this day the constitution of India came into force and India became a truly sovereign state. In this day India became a totally republican unit. The country finally realized the dream of Mahatma Gandhi and the numerous freedom fighters who, fought for and sacrificed their lives for the Independence of their country. So, the 26th of January was decreed a national holiday and has been recognized and celebrated as the Republic Day of India, ever since.
Well material like this on 26th january can only be found only in books, newspaper or on internet but for people of our country its just another day.  They don't f****** care about what this day is for and they don't want to know that too, they are just satisfied with the holiday they get on republic day. And to prove this fact a survey was conducted in metro cities in which the question related to republic day were asked, but Less than 50% of the INDIANs were able to give the correct answer. Even the basic question like In which year our constitution came into existence?? Less than 50% Indians were able to give the correct answer. Some said it was in 1951 while some said it was 1953. Its a shame on aur country that its citizens doesn't know anything about the place where they live. Its a shame on our education system too.
But why do we bother to know this, its not gonna help us in anyway naa. Its just a waste of time trying to know these things. Trying to copy west we are just loosing ourself. Its really sad to see our country in that situation, where in one way we are talking about the progress and the development our country is doing but in other way we are forgetting for whom we are doing this work. We are just following others, because others are doing this thats why we will also do things like that. It doesn't feel good when you encounter such kind of things but sad part of the story is We all say "I am proud to be an Indian." but when asked why you are proud to be an Indian no one is able to give a reply to this question.
Well Indian don't feel shy to questions like why you feel proud to be an Indian because now you got so many things like this to proud of.
It sucks to see our country's condition like this.
"Proud to be an Indian." Jai HIND.
Happy Republic day to all...........
